The face desen't look a thing like the monkey in his movie... But the armor sure was heavily referenced as it was the coolest depiction of the Monkey King's wardrobe.
I added some animal patterns as per the events described in the storybook.
It's just the coolest story ever!
Very, very nice though. What is it, paint or computer colouring. The colour depth is impressive for either.
I'll have to read that story again. I only remember he came out of the coldron with illuminated eyes. I don't think they would be burning all the time. I think it would be cooler if it can be turned on and off.
It is such a cool story! Totally worthy of a movie with lots of special effects!
After the couldron though, he wandered around wearing nothing but the Skillet crown that tightened when Tripitika chanted the Lotus Sutra at him and an apron made out of a tiger skin.
It is a cool story. The variation based on it with Jackie Chan and Jet Lee should be good and for sheer entertainment, you can't really beat Monkey Magic, the classic dubbed japanese version of this.
